can you hook up att dsl to multiple computers without paying more? I already have dsl for my one computer...I got another computer for business only and need it hooked up to internet also. The computers are in the same room. Is there a splitter that I can use to hook up both computers?

Yes, all you need is a router. I have mine connected to two computers full time and a third computer part time. I sometimes have both computers connected to the Internet at the same time.

You are paying for the service line. How you use it is up to you. Of course the more computers using the line at the same time, the slower it will be.

usually your modem has multiple ports to plug in multiple computers with network cables

if this isn't the case, contact your isp and ask about a modem of that sort...

as for a splitter, i'm sure there is one available, but you should be provided with a modem with multiple access ports, usually four of them
