I knew already how to sync favorites but i'm having difficulty in sync'zing files in two computers. For example: I want my save files in a particular folder in Computer "A" to be sync or also appear in Computer "B". These two computers are link by an intranet.
How should I synchronized my files from one computer to another. These computers are link thru an intranet.?internet
There are two answers to this question, as it wasn't clear what your preferences are.
If you want folders on two networked machines to be in sync, and each machine is to have a local copy of the file, I suggest you take a look at Allway Sync (http://www.allwaysync.com/)
which is free for non-commercial use. I believe this requires both machines to be running Windows, and you didn't say which operating system you are running on each machine.
A network share will allow a folder on one computer to be mounted on another. Since both machines are accessing the same folder, they are always in sync. The way you would set up such a share depends on what operating systems are running on each machine. For example, under Windows one machine turns on file and printer sharing, then opens the sharing tab in the folder properties, turns on sharing for that folder and assigns the share a name. The other machine (which should be on the same domain or workgroup) then browses the first machine, selects the shared folder and maps it to a local drive.
