At my new job, they've got these little computers (screens are probably 6" or less). At first, I thought it was like one of those GPS systems that you would see in a car because it was displaying a map. Later I walked by and saw the Windows XP desktop.
My question is- what kind smaller computers like this are available?

These are probably UMPCs - ultra-mobile PCs. They do indeed run fully-fledged Windows versions, but it is debatable whether you can effectively use them, what with the small screen and other limitations.
