My dad says I break computers and I shouldn't help my sister with hers. What to do?

So this morning my sister's computer was acting weird. Something with the graphics card, I dunno what cause I wasn't told. Anyway, she let it slip that I had put songs on her iPod, and dad got it into his head that somehow, doing that messed her graphics card up (I never put the songs on her HD; just dragged and dropped from an SD card into the iTunes window). He yelled at me about it, saying that I can't be trusted with computers cause I always break them; he said he had to reload my old computer several times when I was younger (which is a complete lie; it only happened once). He said I'm not allowed to help my sister with her computer at all because I'll just make it worse. I can't even say a simple thing like "Delete desktop icons for programs you'll never use". He also berated me for getting the iPod songs illegally (you can ONLY get them in Japan, and some are hard to find. He hates Japan, btw, but even if I told him the songs are Japanese he'll still have a BS excuse).

So, there is a lack of trust here. You in him; him in you. that is hard to rebuild but it can be done over time.

Getting a degree just to "show him" is not going to make you happy in life. Pursue something YOU are actually interested in. Jobs are out there; you can even create your own business with enough drive and ambition. How about a job that involves analyzing PCs to make them faster for folks? You can use all sorts of free sites like PCPitstop as a tool that they might not otherwise be familiar with.
