I'm looking at a new laptop/gaming computer. I'm trying to decide to buy either a desktop, or laptop. What I am prob gonna do is but their best laptop, and deck it out the best I can, it adds up to 1800, but its just as good as the fully up'd macbook pro but its about 1700 less. The price and computers are great, but are they trustworthy? Do they last long? Do they break easy?
Are ibuypower computers trustworthy?norton ghost
I had a look at 'ibuypower computers', what I understand is that they sell assembled computers. This would be a good purchase for someone who knows what he is buying. Higher performance for a lesser value. Assembling one should not matter as along as the system works well, but one may regret if something goes wrong. Find out about the after sales service. What if you are not satisfied, can u return in a specific period of time? Is there any warranty tagged with it and for how long (check the T%26Cs)? How long will take to get a resolution in times of technical difficulties ?
Usually, these services are the best, when u pick up from brands. Gaming requires a very high performance machine apart from costs and remember a high configuration need not necessarily deliver the best performance. Final verdict, if i were in your place I would go for a branded Laptop with a very good dedicated graphics card (nVIDIA), sound card and processor speed (Intel Core2 Duo with 2 GHz 800 MHz FSB, 4 MB L2 Cache and 2or4 GB RAM would do most of the jobs). All the best !
