..using Remote Desktop? How do I set up so that I can access my computer at home when I'm somewhere else, regardless of where I am? Kinda like GoToMyPC.com but I don't want to go through a third party. I want to set up just between the 2 computers that I'll be using (I'm not talking about Neighborhood Network since the 2 computers aren't in the same place with each other).
I need expert advice on this. Thanks! :)
How do I connect computers..?systemworks
There's a page here describing how to set up a Remote Dekstop connection:

Bear in mind that the computer you're connecting to must be running XP Pro, this won't work if it's running XP Home.

If you ( and you have to) have a static IP address you can use VNC to connect to your remote desktop. If money is the issue not using a third party try a free Dynamic DNS service. I like and use http://www.NO-IP.com . There are many I just happen to like NO-IP. Also you will I like and use http://www.RealVNC.com .
Here are a couple of great help sits that will be useful..
