Connect two computers and make it work as one?

i was wondering if it's possible for me to connect two computers together and make them run as one computer. i don't want to network them. i want to use both of them off of one mouse, one keyboard, one monitor. is there a way to do this? and how? or at least, where ccan i find info on how

and buy a KVM switch, it will allow you to switch 2 computer between one set of keyboard, mon, mouse, i use one they work great.

Well you can do this,

Lets say you are having a Windows XP %26 a Windows 2000 Systems, You can use a TOGGLE SWITCH and connect the mouse %26 the key board to the toggle switch. The computer won't be one but you can control them using Same Nouse Keyboard %26 Monitor. You can Get Toggle Switch from you nearest PC Hardware shop for a Cheap price around U$D 19.99/-

theres a special hub which lets u switch between the 2 comps. I don't remeber when u press a special keystroke it will switch to the other computer on your monitor. The device has to be connected between 2 computers, ur mouse and monitor. As a result your mouse may become slightly slower and sluggish but u will able to use both computers with only one monitor.

ACtually techinically speaking its not really a hub.
Try making one a slave drive out of the hard drive of the second computer thats what I did and this is where I learned how to do it...
