Using adsl on 2 computers?

I have adsl modem with 2 ways out and i have 2 cables.

One cable is connected on 1 computer and other one on another.

Now i want to use same connection on both computers but i cant.

I can just be on 1 computer other one wont connect on internet while the other one is connected. What to do?

You need a router. Choices are either purchase a router and place it behind tyour DSL modem then connect your PC's through the router or purchase a combo dsl model and router the the home gateway ATT sells.

Bottom line is you need a router to have multple PC's with simultaneous internet access.

purchase an adsl router to replace your modem, that will allow you to share the internet to both computers
You need a Router, THis will allow you to use both computers at the same time. You can get either a wired or Wireless Router.

Remember to be wireless your computers need to have a wireless cards in them otherwise you can connect with an ethernet cable like you are now.
