Network two computers!!! Need help!?

I have a wireless router in my house connecting my windows xp home edition wirelessly to the internet. The thing is when i get a new computer it will be running vista home premium and i was wondering if someone in detail would explain how to network these two computers? And also could i be able to network them so that i could share the same user? Like the way schools do so the pupils can logon at different workstations and there work remains there? Please help me!

Make sure you are in the same workgroup %26gt; right click my computer %26gt; properties%26gt; computername. This is where you go to check and change your workgroup name.

The only way to log on from different places with the same user is within a domain which requires a domain controller "windows server 2003".
If you are connecting wireless, then it will only be a matter of doing a simple file share. Make sure both systems are in the same work group(right click my computer%26gt;%26gt;Properties %26gt;%26gt;Computer name tab change both to a group name and enable file sharing.

you wont beable to share the same user the way the school does unless you install a server. The server maintains the user profile.
