Does this sounds true? Not having any TV sets in your home may lead to a better life? People would have to read more to get news and entertainment, or leave there homes to watch TV at a friend's house. People would not sit as long watching something.
Of course, getting rid of all TVs and Computers in a household could also prove to be devistating for addicts. There are always bars and internet cafes however-but some are stricken with antisocial anxiety making that option not very realistic.
Who here doesn't have a single TV or Computer in their home? (i.e. your not at home right now obviously then..hehe)
Do you feel it helps your life feel better or worse. You can get a lot more done without them. You get more fresh air away from staring at things...you move around a bit more...are these true?
No TV %26 Computers = Better Life?software
As much as I hate to admit but you are 100% correct. I am addicted to the internet. I have a bunch of daily sites I must visit under my favorites. I spent countless hours during a week, "socializing" or "learning / reading" on the internet. I would completely be taken off my toes if I stop using the computer for a DAY. Although I can see myself being more social, more excercise, more out going if it wasn't for the internet / video games. I can't speak for others. Internet in a way ruin my life, but I learn a lot from it as well.
