What kind of computers do CG animators use?

The spectacular graphics of Final Fantasy, the complexity of 3d game programs today...and all those movies like toy story and the Robinson Family~

What kind of computers do they use to design and create those 3d movies and games?

Why i'm asking? Because everytime when i create something like grapes, a box of blueberries or hairs. My pc gets slow like a turtle..., but my pc it's already quite fast, with 4gz of Rams, but still slow down my computer...

Then how is it suppose to create a whole movie, a GTA, or a Final Fantasy, when i can't create more than a bunch of grapes, and then my pc gets slow and slow...

Do anyone knows the answer to my question?
