i have 256 kb/s router and the computers are connected throw lan is there any program that divides the speed equally between pcs something like netcut for example. thanks
I have 2 computers connected to one router when one computer starts to download it takes all the speed?computers
You are probably barking up the wrong tree. I would investigate the slower computer to ensure that it is not slow from SpyWare or network component problems. Run a Speed test individually on each machine and see the base-line differences. Then try to run the Speed test together on BOTH.
Try this speed test from Vonage.

Are you sure both machines are using the same type of network connection speed ie.. both machines are running 10/100 network cards? Are you using a network switch or a hub? They are different. A switch will share network speed across the whole network, a hub does not do this. Is the network configured correctly? If not this could impair the network also.
I suggest you get the Home Networking kit which allows you to distribute your speed equally.
