2Wire ATT Yahoo DSL, need to connect to 2 computers?

Hello, i have a 2wire modem provided to me from att yahoo nd i have one computer using a USB WIRELESS "thing" to acess internet on one computer and its been working fine for a while ,

but i fixed my old computer and when i turn it on it makes my internet connection fail!!!!

this happens even tho i unplug it from the modem!!

My old computer is located right next to the modem and i don't know how to make both work with the internet at the same time

does my internet go slower if i have 2 computers connected to one modem??

ohh nd my modem has like 5 places to plug in an ethernet cable..

I have the same thing. Sounds like the modem has to be reset. Just call them, and they will walk you right through it.

Plug it one of the ports that say Local Area Network, not the one for the DSL line.
