How long until Computers and Robots take over ALL Human Jobs?

its going to happen right? If you look for instance at service and transport industries, factory workers can be replaced by robots like we've already seen in the auto industry; taxi, bus, and limo drivers can be phased out when the self driving cars are put into service, or subways, that can and some are run by computers already, it would keep union workers from striking and crippling a cities public transportation, the only problem is laying off that many people, how can this transition be made?

The only option I see is to have a giant monopoly like the government be responsible for all the robotics and computers that will replace human labor and we can all live labor free lives without currency, relying upon computers to do our bidding until they gain self-awareness and all that good stuff. My question is, on a scale of 1-10 how possible is this? (10 being inevitable, 1 being not at all) if it is then approximately how long until this occurs?

I fixed industrial electronics and robotics for a living. Believe it, our robotic technology is so high-maintenance, there is no fear of humans running out of work.

It takes humans to maintain and repair the technology.

Thus far, computers and robots have resulted in a net INCREASE in the number of jobs in the world (look it up), not a decrease.
Most computers are the only reason

the idiot electric power and auto industries still exist.

So it will be a long, long, time before

they replace any workers.
Never computers may seem smart but they arent at all its the programmers behind the jobs robots may be taking all of the laborous and difficult jobs but the robots will still need programmers debuggers and repair men.
Don't hold your breathe. Economics rules our lives. If it doesn't pay it doesn't play.
