when i go to yahoo.com, i sign in and and i CAN get to my mail, but when i put the mouse over the messenger thing it will say that 0 freinds are online when they really are and if it says that anyone is online, i click on the persons name and the page comes up that says nothing can be displayed. on my old computer, i would sign in at yahoo.com and then i would call a freind to ask them to tell me if their messenger said that i was online, and they said no i was not. when i go to messenger.yahoo.com, its just advertisments and stuff. i just switched computers, and i made the messenger on the old one so i had an icon on the desktop, so i signed in from there and the list thing would come up and it worked. on this new computer i don't have an icon on the desktop because i don't know how. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

lol, bout the chatting problem, its probably from ur faulty installation, try to Remove Yahoo! messenger from the Control Panel, then re-install it wt the install file. AND bout the icon, go to (if u are using Win XP) Start menu -%26gt; All Programs -%26gt; Yahoo! messenger, then right-click on the Smiley, choose Send to -%26gt; Desktop (create shortcut), then its FINISH
