Question about Dell computers (inspiron range)?

I'm looking for a dell computer to buy. I've seen online that there is the inspiron 530 and the inspiron 530s. The inspiron 530s appears to have a slimer design so its more compact. However, based on the components in the computer, it is significantly cheaper than the inspiron 530. Is there another difference i should have noted? Also, for those who own anyone of these computers, could you please give me your opinion. Thankyou

I looked at the 530, but ended up buying the In spiron 1520. The specs made it look like I was getting more bang for the buck.

I had them load XP on it, not Vista.

530 weaker processor so if you are buyying the computer to game get a different one
The small form factor model 530s is designed for space saving over power.

In my opinion it may not have the room you need for adding peripherals later down the line. The video card is part of the motherboard, and it uses a proprietary power supply, as well as leaving room for half height cards only.

If you get the 530 model you have access to full height cards, a real video card and power supply, and it's a full sized box so you don't have to worry about heating issues.
Yes, if it has a Celeron processor, pass on it, you want a duel core
Hay. Well the first thing that comes to my mind aside from cpu is how long does the two different computers last on batteries. there can be a huge difference here. from one hour to 4-5hours which is alot.

have fun!
